About Me
Background & Story
I'm Nachiket Kulkarni, a Principal Platform Engineer with close to 10 years of experience designing and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure, internal developer platforms, CI/CD systems, and data infrastructure. I currently work at Autodesk in Pune, India, where I help drive platform engineering initiatives for enterprise clients including Pixar, Hyundai, and L&T.
My journey started in QA and test automation at TIBCO Software, where I built a strong foundation in software reliability, observability, and engineering discipline. Over the years I transitioned into DevOps and platform engineering — building pipelines, managing Kubernetes clusters, designing infrastructure as code, and enabling developer self-service at NICE, Coupa Software, and Autodesk.
I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), which strengthened my foundations in distributed systems, machine learning, and systems design. Today, my work increasingly sits at the intersection of platform engineering and AI/ML, where I focus on scalable MLOps platforms, model delivery workflows, and cloud-native systems that support modern engineering teams.
I'm passionate about building golden paths for developers — creating secure, observable, and cost-efficient platforms that improve engineering velocity without sacrificing reliability. Outside of work, I enjoy contributing to open-source projects, exploring LLM tooling, and building practical automation in Python.
